LOEWE's Creative Director Jonathan Anderson was fascinated by the culture and began a collaboration in 2016. The result is a relaxed collection that incorporates the charm of the Mediterranean.
The new Loewe Font Tote from Paula's Ibisa collection is the latest addition to the basket family.
They come in a variety of fresh shapes and colors, and each one is handcrafted using natural fibers like raffia and ilaka palm leaves.
Woven by skilled artisans in Colombia and Madagascar, Loewe's signature basket bag combines Loewe savoir-faire with traditional craftsmanship that dates back generations.
For every Ilaka basket and Loewe Font Tote sold, Loewe will donate 15 euros to the handcrafted local communities, which will help create a university scholarship program in Colombia and build a craft training school in Madagascar.
